Lesson Introduction
Lesson plan will be introduced after the students are asked by the teacher a specific warm-up question. The question is ‘If the U.S. was to experience a World War today, what do you think it will do to the U.S.? How ill it affect us, economically and socially?
This question will access student’s prior knowledge by having them thinking about other wars such as WWII, and students will understand what a war can do to the U.S. this activity will take 5 minutes, Students will need to also discuss with a partner what they wrote.

Vocabulary
The lecture guided notes will consist of vocabulary that will be defined and also explained. This lecture will allow students to stop and write down the definition of specific vocabulary so that students will understand the meaning of each word.

Content Delivery
The lecture will be presented to students through a digital presentation on Prezi.com. Students will be asked to listen carefully, observe and write down information about the lecture. Students will also need to think critically to answer questions being asked during the lecture.

Students Engagement
During the presentation the students will need to take notes on their guided notes plan. Each question requires students to analyze images, and charts. Students will need to think critically as they answer specific questions. When students reach a stop sign on their guided notes they will need to turn to the person next to them and discuss what the question asks of them this will have students engage in oral discussion to address any issues.
Lecture Closure
Lesson closure will be a specific question asked at the end of the lecture presentation. This question will ask students to determine whether the war had a positive or negative outcome on the U.S. Student will take two minutes to answer this question.
Assessment
Formative assessment: Teacher will collect the guided notes, she will check for understanding, and work quality. The guided notes will be graded and returned to students to let them know if they need improvement or if they did well
Summative Assessment: The last slide of the Prezi presentation asks students to choose whether WWII affected the U.S. is a positive or negative way. Provide specific information from the sides and guided notes. Based on the students answer the teacher will know if students understood the main purpose of the presentation.

Accommodations for EL students and Students with special needs
The Prezi presentation is designed to accommodate all students including EL students and students with any learning disabilities. It consists of visuals to allow students to be engaged. There are vocabulary terms that will be defined so EL students are able to know what they are. Students will engage in group discussions to further understand the objective. The presentation asks plenty of questions to further discuss the topic for better understanding, and there is also a video, which allows students to get a different perspective from the topic.
